OAuth application names can't be the same in two different users

Hi, as I was configuring Twidere to work with my GNU social (StatusNet) account I had to give it permission using OAuth. When I tried to register my application it failed, because I set its name as "Twidere" which was being used by another user of the server, so I had to call it "twidere". Maybe there is a reasonable reason for GNU social to do that, but I think it's quite bad. This happened to me on a small GNU server, with about 10 users. Now imagine having a server with 1500 users and ~1/20 part of them using twidere.
