I understand this request is weird and not easy to do, so I don't expect this would be implemented in near future. But I really want this feature. Basically it's to follow some Twitter users as some information are useful and interesting, and some of my friends use it. But I don't use Twitter; therefore, it's nice if GNU Social can implement this feature.
