Profile urls and other urls containing "index.php" - is this intended or a bug?
Since some time I made the experience that "webfinger" now mostly seem to return paths for the aliases with "index.php" along with aliases without it.
See for example the server https://sn.theru.org/ that is running version 1.2.0-beta4. Do a webfinger with the address https://email@example.com - you get the profile link "https://sn.theru.org/index.php/theru" and several aliases with and without index.php (Same goes with the addresses for salmon and other endpoints)
Question is if this is intended and if yes: Why?
And: Which format is the correct format to address an account? Is there some need to use the format containing the "index.php" during the communication? If not then I will simply ignore these values and remove the "index.php" from them.
